Port Perry Hospital – Healing Ceilings

Healing Ceilings is a collaboration between the Port Perry Hospital Foundation (PPHF) and Scugog Arts that aims at spreading well-being through ceiling tile paintings.

I worked on phase one of this initiative as a coordinator between the two organizations. I secured artists that could paint the tiles and ensured that they followed guidelines that were outlined by the PPHF. I also regularly promoted the project on social media and communicated with the local news publications to increase public awareness.

Additionally, the Healing Ceilings project was a subproject during my role as Culture Days Coordinator for Scugog Arts. An exhibit of the ceiling tile paintings was on display during the Culture Days celebration.
